David has helped the church to reduce emissions and cut the heating bill by developing a ‘smart-home’ solution to operate an air-source heat-pump (ASHP) that had been installed to heat one of our meeting rooms (Holly), based on the information from our room-bookings system. 

The solution was then extended to manage the heating to other meeting rooms on the same heating-zone using remote-controlled radiator valves, preventing un-occupied rooms from being heated when a single room is being used.
